Sky HD is the latest offering from Sky, offering superb quality HD (meaning high definition) quality pictures.

If you have never experienced SKY HD, it really is worth taking a look sometime, especially for nature type programs and the like, or even a football match.

The detail is fantastic, really sharp, where if you were watching a match, the blur of green that is grass, is properly textured.

The Sky HD service from Sky is a pay service and it costs more than SKY or Sky +.

The Satellite receiver itself can record too, as with the SKY + receiver and, objectively, this is exceptionally simple to use and highly effective. The only thing you will have to think about is how to watch all the programs you have recorded.
